It should further be noted that currently, within the entire market of 'diamond simulants' or 'fake diamonds', there are only two product that have a US granted patent - Asha and Moissanite.
While most sellers of imitation diamonds tout their product as being a technological breakthrough that only they can offer, you can cut through various claims with a simple question - if its so unique, why don't you have a patent for the process?
Only two diamond simulants can currently pass that simple test - Asha and Moissanite.
