i tried to photograph the difference between the Transitional and the OEC...

these are both Light Champagne, 8mm
but the OEC is older - about two batches ago the cut was modified a little and the culet was made smaller than the one in this picture.

the difference is subtle, and hard to photograph, but there is a difference. i prefer the OEC, but i can see why some people would prefer the Transitional.
