thanks! that ring is a costume jewelry piece that's too big in pretty much every sense of the word. it came with an ugly center stone that i pried out and now i use it to sit things in to get an idea of how the might look when set. same with the silver ring to the left in those pictures

i have the pinchy type stone holder ring thingums, but they don't fit me comfortably, so i use actual stoneless rings instead. less secure for wandering around the house, but good for pictures!
