It's amazing how different perfumes smell once you put them on. I love to go check out perfumes, but I usually already have something on, as it's never planned....and then when I test them on the strips, I still don't know what they'll smell like on me. And of course no one seems to give out the little samples vials so you can actually try them anymore. I think it's odd you can't get the trial vials of perfume at the counter where they're suposed to have them, yet you go on ebay, and people are selling them by the CASE/BOX. I seem to be a little more fortunate than most though, as most perfumes do work on me. My Mom can hardly wear anything...seems like everything she tries turns funky once she puts it on. I bought her a TON of mini's for her Valentine's Day package this year, and I'm hoping we'll get ONE winner out of the group. After she tries them all, then reports back, I'll be able to buy her full sized bottles & moisturizers if one of them actually works for her. Blinglover, I suddenly decided on my Birthday this past year that I needed a skincare routine! Rofl! After 32 years of being somewhat oblivious, 33 hit HARD for some reason! I looked in the mirror, and thought "When the heck did I get wrinkles, broken capillaries, and blotches???" It was a very sudden thing for me! When I turned 30, for some reason it didn't really phase me....but when I hit 33, it somehow hit me between the eyes! I've done really well though, and have actually stuck with a routine for 6 months now. I've never managed to do that before...which goes to show that my Birthday scared the poo out of me!

Kimie...age is all in the mind; there is no problem with aging if you don't mind. I forgot that I spotted a new fragrance by Lolita Lempicka today. I had no idea what it was, nor even what it was called - no sales person available - until I got home. It is called "L" and this is the only information I could find on it. http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB...italempicka.htmIt smells - from the card - almost identical to Tutti Dolci's Chocolate Fondue from B&BW (since discontinued apparently, but I managed to snag a bottle on ebay) with a touch of regular Lolita thrown in.

What a fun thread! I am addicted to 'Aromatherapy" by Lancome, the Green one. I love fresh, lemony, light scents. I would love to get my hands on a bottle of "Green Tea" by Bvlgari! I used to wear Chanel. No. 5, but find it too sweet smelling now. I also used Clarins Eau Dynamisante. I also love Cartier "So Pretty", but it is "so expensive"! And plain old Coty Lily of the Valley is still one I love.

I just LOVE Dynamisante, but DH gets all stuffed up from it... It's my fave summer fragrance.

Did you have any luck yesterday Erin? Ok, I got my Violet Angel yesterday....and I am absolutely in love! At first when I put it on, I wasn't sure, as I'm not used to wearing anything floral....so it smelled funny to me. After it dried down though, it just smelled incredible!
