WHAT???!!! Fees on used books?!!! OMG. That's soooooooo pathetic!

I didn't realize shipping perfume was illegal, period. It's not like perfumes/fragrances are carried by hand/foot to each n' every store that sells it. Good grief... of course they're shipped! I have a tough time "seeing" that kind of viewpoint, bling. But then, that's a discussion for off-the-board.

You can ship via courier, no problem, but I guess with Canada Post, there are not all the safety precautions in place - like for sure it won't be near any light or heat sources anywhere along the way, that kind of thing. Perfume is considered a "flammable substance" thus the restrictions.

Red Planet kindly offered to give away some extra samples she had around and I took her up on her most generous offer. The samples came today! Yippee! I put a little Donna Karan Cashmere Mist on my hand, since I'm already wearing something else, and yummy. I've been wanting to try this one for a while. So, thanks Red! I'll have fun testing these new scents out.

Oooooooo-kay! DUH! I get it now! Thanks, bling! Hah! Never said I was the sharpest knife in the drawer... That does make sense.

I've drenched myself in Angel again today and am just LOVING my wafting 'fumes.

Give in Gai...go shopping...go shopping...go SHOPPING!!!! Just one itty-bitty bottle of Aaaaaaaangeeeeeeel.....what's one more teeny bottle anyways?

What does the Cashmere Mist smell like Blinglover?

I tried Incanto Dream today, and I'm absolutely loving it! It smells very fruity and tropical. It's freezing outside and I'm over here stuck on sweet and/or fruity scents! Rofl!

Cashmere Mist is soft with nice floral tones. Top notes of Morrocan Jasmine and Lily of the Valley and Bergamont the bottom notes are Sandlewood, Musk and Amber. Very lovely scent.

Ooooooh, that does sound nice! It sounds like alot of the scents I like. If I stick my arm in Greg's face one more time though, and ask him "Baby, what do you think of this one??" I think he may well throttle me! Uhm, so maybe I should stop stop buying samples for myself..... I've already found Angel Innocent, Angel Violet, Hanae Mori, Euphoria, and Pink Sugar that I'm absolutely in LOVE with and bought for myself. Outside of the Euphoria, I would have never found the other 4 if it hadn't been for the ladies on this board. I especially wouldn't have found my favorite, the Hanae Mori since I've yet to see it for sale in any of the stores I've been in!

ROTF!!! Kimie, I gave in today and went shopping. Shopping... and bought the Dermalogica sunscreen. I found the Neutragena stuff that I picked up in the summer, causes my face to break out in winter. ICK! Me, who never has spots or problem skin. ICK, I say!

Having doused myself (and still sniffing the glorious scent) with Angel..... Yesssssss, it's only a matter of time before I cave and head to the fragrance counter.

There's a very cool fragrance store here, that carries all manner of hard-to-find perfumes. When I asked if she had Hanae Mori, the gal actually jerked in surprise. LOL! I told her my buddies had mentioned it, and she said, "Hmmmm, they must be American buddies." LOL! She's from CA and somehow ended up living here, in c.o.l.d. land!

Don't feel too bad dear...I've been using the green cream 3, and I'm purging like crazy! It's driving me nuts! I normally never break out except for a few tiny spots once a month. Now my skin is just a mess! I don't know if I can put up with this long enough to make it through the purging stage, because I look rough! I haven't even thought about sunscreen...I'm afraid to use anything else on my face right now! So talk about ICK!!!!

Oh gosh!!! That poor sales lady! From CA straight to the freezer! I should mention here, that I also now live in a freezer. One day, I hope to move back to someplace where I can thaw out!

Is there much difference in what perfumes you can get in Canada? I just assumed you pretty much had all the ones that we have.

I'm waiting anxiously for my violet to come in. It should be here Monday, then I'll be running around doused in it! Greg's favorites of everything I've tried so far....the T. Mugler scents. He absolutely LOVES them on me. Seems like men in general love them, from what I've read online. I can't believe Angel has been around for so long, and I had never even heard of it until starting this thread!!!

I so wish I like vanilla scents on me, because everyone loves the Hanae Mori, I want to try it so bad. Mabye I will actally have to venture out to a store and try to find it.

I am bummed that Angel did not smell good on me. I wonder if the perfumebay people swithed my Angel and Lolita, because I liked the Lolita and the way it was described earlier in this thread is how the angel smelled on me.

I did try Chance by Chanel, (I think Monkey recommended that one), and it smells great, the scent did not last too long on me, but it did smell nice.

Now thanks to Grigs I will be trying a few more new scents this weekend.
