sooo, i've been bustin my butt and watching my diet, and i have lost 7 lbs since monday!!! thats right, 7!!! i cut my cals to 1400 a day, and i have been running/jogging/walking for about an hour or 2 a night.
now, by cutting my cals down, i don't want anyone to think that i have been starving myself, far from it. i've just been eating really small amounts of the food that i like (like 1/2 serving of my ranch wheat thins that i can't live without. 1/2 is 7 crackers) and then eating 500 cal lunch and dinners. you would suprised what 500 is is you count and measure. today i had olive garden's chicken con brocoli, substitute the reg pasta for whole wheat linguini and the sauce on the side. i eneded up only eating about a large table spoon worth of sauce, making the whole meal around 450 cal. and tonight i had a fabulous salad with cheddar bacon almond slivers, and some cheese and light done right ranch with some italian cold chicken slices...came to about 500 cal also. add that in with my normal breakfast (a cup of dry yogurt burst cheerios..what i eat normally) and a couple 80 cal yogurts for snacks, some cottage cheese, some tuna and about 60 oz of water and i was feeling great!
i NEVER thought i would have the will power to cut back on food as it is my crutch, but i have found that if i crave something, like lemon creme cake, or a piece of chocolate, i will have exactly one bite and the craving is gone. i feel SOOO great, and the energy i had was AWESOME!!! i was in a great mood today, i felt better, even tho i don't look different.

4 mintes will rock you world. more intense than 45 minutes on a treadmill..atleast for me it was. the amount of energy it takes to go from jogging to sprinting was crazy, and i had to switch off to walking then jogging for the last round cuz i was dead. try it, holy cow!
okay, i know i'm going on and on and on..but i am proud of myself..7 lbs is abig deal! (and the scale is reading right...i keep weighing livi and she has been a solid 25 all week!)
