Now for the HORRIBLE truth.

I bought this ring as an investment. Lucy does not know about it. I plan on selling it.

I still owe a lot of money in student loans, mortgage, new windows, etc. This is to help pay off my debts faster.

Lucy already has a beautiful diamond engagement ring. I've even asked her if she wants an upgrade, and she has said no. We need to pay off things first.

So... I hope y'all understand, and please don't stone me with asshas.

Good investments are a fine way to get where you want to be in life! Doesn't matter if that investment sparkles or is covered with dirt. I find you are a wise Fool and need no forgiveness, rather congratulations on finding and seizing an opportunity for advancement in your life goals.

I am absolutely in agreement with Cyn. I may be a bit surprised because we all thought it was for Lucy but hey....at least your honest and it sounds to me like you are both perfectly happy. No big deal ArchFool! You are a smart man!!! It's an absolutely beeautiful ring too!

I wonder what Less thinks about the setting I put the diamond in. If he wants, he can use one of my pictures for promo purposes.
