Well I am on day three. The first two were fine. I love fruits and veggies and oatmeal was something I ate everyday anyhoo. It really only felt like I had to make minor changes. It is the prep work that is taking some getting used to. MAKING this all up aheaad of time so I can grab it and go in the morning. I also made the decision to cut soda out of my day to day life. Today was HARD! I had the munchies something awful - I think I am PMS-y. That didn't help. DH is a Chef, so that makes this awfully hard when he WANTS to come home and make incredible meals. I don't have a ton of weight to lose, and I am lifting weights and throwing a good 3 or 4 cardio sessions in there. Basically I am saying I am NOT missing out on the good meals or beating myself up if I go over.... I am hoarding my extra points this week for a girls night on Saturday - movies, margaritas and munchies while are men are at a bachelor party. I am walking a 5k that morning, so I should be in good shape for a pig out!

I joined Monday the 27th and so far I have lost 6.4 lbs. I have gone WAY over 2 times now but its cool because some days Im a few shy of my "target". Im getting used to portions now though. And I have purchased specific lower point snacks, sugar free jello cups, ricecakes and little yogurt cups that are helping significantly. I portioned pretzles and almonds into little snack sized ziplocs too. I ordered some NutriSystem meals/snacks and bought some WW meals and LeanCuisines too so I had something for lunch and dinner on nights I don't cook something I found on the WW site.

I was really disinterested in the plan at first but its working well. I don't drink much soda so luckily I don'tworrytoo much about that.

Good luck, Im glad Im not alone.

WOOHOO! 6.4 pounds, that is HUGE in that short of time! I like to think of those as pounds of butter attached to my waist and butt! LOL! Way to go! I bought some of the f.f. jello pudding cups last night and put a dollop of f.f. cool whip on it, YUM! Those and the skinny cow ice cream sandwiches are what will make this work for me. I haven't tried the recipes on the site yet. Just eating smaller portions of our "normal" meals. DH cooked last night with WW in mind so it was seasoned chicken breasts, baked red potatoes and broccoli flowers. Mmmmmmm! Thank you for the encouragement ame!

Those skinny cow treats are better than the real ones! I LOVE those. I have to slap my husbands hands to keep them away from my treats!

I think Im losing so much bec of how few calories I consume in a day now by comparison.

Two great recipes are that shake n bake one and then I found one for taco filling using chicken, black beans, potatoes, tomato, mexicorn...it was AWESOME and SO filling from evn a halfcup of the mixture!

Kudos to you Kimmy!! I bet the prep work will pay off as you can just prepare something ahead of time and grab it later. I've cut waaaay back on soda (couldn't cut it out entirely) and my teeth look whiter and I feel better.

I found this one, wonder if this is it:

Corny Chicken Soft Tacos

Estimated POINTS® Values Per Serving | 5
Servings | 6

Ingredients

2/3 pound uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breast(s)
12 oz Green Giant Canned Mexicorn, With Peppers
14 oz Del Monte Diced Tomatoes
15 oz canned black beans
1 cup Kraft 2% Milk Reduced Fat Natural Shredded Cheese Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
3 Tbsp Old El Paso Mild Taco Seasoning Mix
1/3 cup water
12 small fat-free flour tortilla(s)

Instructions

Cut raw chicken into small cubes. Spray skillet with cooking sray. Cook chicken until almost done. Add chopped Onion until onion and chicken are cooked through. Add water and taco seasing mix, stir until coated. Add diced tomatoes (drained of juices), add black beans (drained and rinsed), add Mexicorn (drained), stir until warmed, stir in cheese until melted throughout. Add equal amounts to soft shells. Serve immediately

Special Notes

For a slightly spicier version: Use DelMontes diced tomatoes with zesty mild green chilies instead.

Chicken Taco Filling:
Points per serving: 2
Servings: 12
each serving is 1/2 cup (and youd be amazed how much that is!)

2 9oz pkgs Tyson Southwest Seasoned precooked chicken strips, cut up to little bits
3 small "new" potatoes, peeled cut up into little bits
1 can "mexicorn" (corn with peppers)
1/2 can black beans
1 small can rotel with chiles
1 cup chicken broth
1 packet taco seasoning

Put broth, taco seasoning, tomatoes and potatoes into large skillet, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add chicken, beans and corn, stir very well to be sure all mixture is seasoned. Cook uncovered for approx 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and liquid is absorbed.

Serve on tortillas.
