I purchased smarie's 3 carat H Asscher in the cathedral setting- oh my goodness this thing is so beautiful! I compared it to a real diamond Asscher cut today- the man at the jewelry store had no idea it wasn't real, and complimented me on it repeatedly. I had the head lowered a few mm- all of my rings are very low profile, and I work with kids, AND I want to wear the ring, so there you have it. I have been a longtime lurker, you guys are a riot.

I'm sure I would have gotten used to the height...my other rings are verrrrry low profile, bezel type settings, or just bands. I was at my jeweler ordering a setting for my sister, and he was admiring my Asha. I mentioned the height, and he said if would be easy to lower it. The Asha is incredibly gorgeous-I am deeeeeelighted with it, and my husband is in despair! Another stone for me to obsess over. Truly, when compared with a natural Asscher cut diamond, the Asha looks as good if not better.
