The round is my 2 carat "H" Asha H & A, and the Tiffany CathedraL WG 3mm has my 3 carat Asha Asscher in it, and the loose Asscher is the 4 carat Interlap...

HOly windowing, batman! I never realized just how much of a difference the DLC makes!
But hey! You can't beat an interlap for a fun, inexpensive stone. They're a great way of testing the waters when you're not sure about size or a new cut that you want to try.

Yeah for $60 bucks what are you gonna do...personally I think they look pretty much identical since the Interlap isn't set, but I have yet to understand the windowing stuff? Can you explain to me DA exactly which cuts have it or how it is detected in the ones that do...i have heard people refer to it in Princess cuts and I have NO IDEA what they are talking about???
Help!
Reese, as I said for $60 bucks vs $600 it's a good choice for me since I already have THREE ASHAS, but if someone is purchasing "thee one" like to wear everyday, I say DEFINATELY an asha and on the asscher, 3 carats and down unless your situation will allow for a bigger stone...
does that help?

In the last two pictures posted, there's a spot where you can see through the stone, right to your finger.
But I love it nonetheless...the large Asschers are so mesmerizing  .

But like you said, for $60 you can't beat it! I would still like to get a regentCZ, and an OEC. I had ordered an OMC, but it was too much like a cushion in my eyes. I have a large EC around here somewhere from Wink too.

The coating on the Asha stones helps to seriously minimize that characteristic. Also, it does happen on real diamonds, and the larger the stone, the more windowing can be an issue.
I've not really heard anyone complain about windowing in an Asha stone.
