Did anyone see the price ranges for 1 carat diamonds provided by reflecting concepts (the ebayer with this latest "gem"):
Price Ranges There is a very wide price range between the best and the worst. Please note that in the examples below, we are quoting retail prices. TREASURE-POINT'S selling prices would be approximately 40% to 50% below retail, AT LEAST. Perfect - D Flawless ($26000.00). For a 1 carat round modern brilliant cut diamond, D colour, IF (internally flawless) clarity, well proportioned, well made, we would estimate a retail value of $21,000.00; and at that quality, you should expect to get a certificate from an internationally recognised gem laboratory. For E color, VVS1 clarity, the price would drop to around $14000.00 For F color, VS1 clarity, expect to pay $11,000.00 For G color, SI1 clarity, say, $9,000.00 For H color, I1 (P1) clarity, about $5500.00 For I color, I2 (P2) clarity, about $3400.00 For J color, I3 (P3) clarity, about $1800.00 For K color, Spotted, perhaps $900.00 For L color, Heavy Spotted, perhaps $450.00
Ok, anyway...just found it funny:)

I like a stone to match my dog...dark and spotty. That stone would match Sam's Angel Baby. White and spotty. Its all about accesorizing when you take them for a walk. And if heavy spotted goes for 450.00, is he selling this for 250.00?

well, i was browsing my antique diamonds as i usually do, and i came across this beauty. i think it speaks for itself.
and i gotta say, this is an old mine cut?? where are the facets? are there any?
frozen spit omc
We have been consigned by a San Francisco estate to sell this very large antique cut diamond solitaire. The old mine cut diamond is 8.9 mm diameter x 5.9 mm deep and is exactly 2.50 carat. The diamond is I-2 clarity and high white H color. The 14K gold mounting is presently size 8 1/2 and can easily be sized anywhere. This is an absolute sale. No returns, so please bid accordingly.
Funny, the seller "forgot" to mention it's a disgusting example of a diamond, so, it's not exactly surprising that they also failed to mention the huge CHIP on the top right!?! Absolute sale...no returns...that's shocking...
I simply refuse to believe someone would pay 2 cents for this...that's total insanity!!!
Sellers like this should be soooooooooo ashamed of themselves. And the buyers, SHAME ON YOU! Definitely NOT a great way to start a relationship... "Please marry me, I love you sooo much, etc. Sweetie, here's your "very large" engagement ring. Oh, and by the way, I'm a cheap ba$tard!!!" LOL

Maybe it just needs a bath and can of dog food to make it pretty. You wouldn't throw your dog out for having a chip on his shoulder would you??
