I am having a ring made. The worst part is waiting!! It's the Harry Winston pear reproduction ring with baguettes. I called today and was told it would probably be back to their place on Monday so I hope by next Friday I will have it.

Me too! I had diamond my pear set into that yummy platinum solstice! I am TRYING not to call every five minutes w/ a "when will it be ready". Sheila said on the 10th that it would take about a week and yesterday when I called I was told it was w/ the bench.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be soon!

Seems we BOTH have "pear mania".

We normally tell customers 3 weeks. There is always the possibility of a stone breaking, a bench back-up, lags in shipping, etc. and I hate it when we have to tell a customer "a few more days". I know what its like to be waiting on a new sparklie.

I try to be patient... also I know Windfields must have more than enough business most of the times. It has a good reputation which is good but busy busy!

I can't wait to see it. I am thinking of getting that ring and have ordered a pear to preview first. Can't wait to see pics. I'm sure the wait will be worth it!

Honestly one of the main reasons I call once a week to check the status is because you have to sign for their pieces and I hate not to be home and miss a delivery. One day I waited and the mailman was late coming so I had to leave the house and sure enough within 20 minutes he tried delivery.

I may be wrong, but I think they wait to charge your credit card until they ship it. That's the way I check if something has shipped from them.

I feel your pain!!!! When I had orderd my asscher tulip head solitaire, it took alittle over a month for them to get my stone, and then it took a little longer for them to set the stone since I wanted the head set alittle different, and then the address had got mixed up with another Amanda with the same last name from the same town I'm in and they got my ring back and I had called them and they where like where soooo sorry,,, and they overnighted it to me and everything was gorgeous and perfect.... I'm now waiting for a 9X4.5 marquise that I ordered like forever ago, to see if I want to replace the center stone in my old ering. The wait is enough to kill you , but what you get in the end is soooo worth it!!!! I'm sooo sorry that this little story has lasted so long in your thread.... but I just hope that you get your ring soon!
