If you pass by Pricescope, you might want to drop a question or two to Garry about whether and how his cut grading tool could be used for colored diamonds. I remember it doesn't... and the Gem Adviser seems to agree.
H&A in colored rounds? Not sure... Maybe. H&A pattern do form outside the AGS0 or GemAdviser Ideal range. So... who knows... (Gary!

).
Would you care for a radiant cut blue? The cut is supposed to show color much better than rounds.

It sounds normal that clarity is priced in colored syntetics as it certainly is priced in natural color - perhaps color increments cost more, but this is beyond the point. (two examples found quickly:
3cts Intense Yellow VS1 - 44k v.s.
3cts Intense Yellow SI1 25k. There could be differences of color, both look nicely cut... and clarity is still one very different thing between the two. ]
The color charts posted look very blue compared to my memories of blue diamonds - which are a tad cold blue ('graish' sounds bad... don't want to hear about it when blue diamonds are talked about!). Perhaps the syntetics are made a bit better than nature cares to? And I must confess to have seen at least one natural 'vivid blue' that didn't seem to have much gray in it at all... Don't care to remember the price tag of that baby!
Sorry for the rant! The prospect of blue diamonds is exciting even remotely!

Yay for you, girl
