I am right there with you, GingerKaBlue. When my daughter as born a year ands half ago, my thyroid went NUTS, resulting in keeping on a lot of weight I shouldn't have. Though to be honest, I was no where near a good weight when I got pregnant.
In the last 8 months I have lost 40lbs. I think that is partly because of my thyroid mess, but I also have been watching my diet and exercise 4/5 times a day. Right now I do a 2 mile walk/jog Monday through Friday. I need to change things up though because I haven't lost any weight in 2-3 weeks.
My long term, ultimate goal is to lose 100 more pounds, but that is a very long term goal. I am hoping to lose between 50-60 lbs by the end of the year.
