In December I ordered a ring from Juan of Van Graff; I'm planning to set it with my 1.22 ct OEC diamond. He custom made it from a sketch of mine. I don't have it yet, but he sent me some pics of it, and I can hardly wait. He did a really nice job interpreting my sketch- it's damn close. There's one thing that's different that I kinda wish wasn't, but who knows, it may be fine in person- it's the shape of the sorta wing things around the center stone, where it's pierced... if you can see what I mean! I'm loving what he did with the shank vs. the original ring's shank. Also the engraving is PERFECT and I'm really thrilled with it.

He did (as per usual) take a really long time, but no surprise there. I did order at a busy time, after all. Anyway, I'll post some more photos when I get the ring. Here's the ones I got from him, and after that what I'd asked for.
