I like your current setting, too, but if you would like a more minimalist setting, may I recommend the Bella Crown Cathedral? (the one with the heart prongs) It makes my 1 ct moiss solitaire look positively HUGE. It's also extremely solid and well built.

Moiss, you know I love that setting, and had seriously considered it before this whole ordeal. If I had just sent my diamond to Bella to be reset instead of taking it to the store I bought it from, I wouldn't have gone through all this mess. Oh well, live and learn! I think I'll send Bella an email to get a quote on it again.
