Quick question.. I love the colored stones but am wondering if in person they have that sparkle and fire that a colorless stone has. My only hesitation for getting a sunset colored center would be it not having the firey sparkle or it looking "fake" because of it being such a unusual color. I suppose if I like it and it's pretty that's all that should matter. First hand opinions would still be welcomed.

I can tell you that the sunset is not going to look like any natural stone, so if you were to try and pass it for real its not going to work. Enjoy it for what it is, and remember its all in the attitude.

If someone asks "What is that?" or "Is that real?" You answer, "Oh, isn't it fabulous! Its a color change Winfield's brand Regent (or whatever cut) stone!"

The fire comes from the cut, not the color.

My sunset looks slightly like a zircon stone I own. No the color is not spot on (the zircon is more rosey colored and less peachy) but close enough that if someone really wanted to know what kind of stone it was and for some reason I didn't want to say it was a CZ, I'd just say it was a well cut peachy pink zircon or even a peachy colored tourmaline.

Now that wouldn't work with a gemologist/jeweler or someone really knowledgeable about gemstones, but with the average person you meet out and about, sure why not? It's not like they're going to contradict you on the spot. And if they do, so what? You just give them a look like they're crazy and move on. As DA says, it's all about attitude.
