Hi ladies,

Well, I finally bought a replacement to my wedding ring and got a great deal. It's a bit under 1/2ct and is G/SI1 and vintage.

The problem is that the wedding band I've been wearing just doesn't work with it. I considered a plain 2mm band, but that wouldn't be wide enough (east/west wise) to work with the ring. I don't want anything chunky, so it will need to be under 2.5mm. I don't like a lot of bling. Any ideas?

Here's a couple pics of the ring.

that looks almost exactly like my original engage. setting! i found a wedding band that matched the band on the engagement ring. the engage. ring i got at an antique boutique and the band i got at an estate jewelry sale. you would never know they weren't a set. they matched perfectly! i'm sure you could find a matching diamond band on ebay or go to an estate sale ( look in the paper), if you are interested in diamond band. the look will give lots of sparkle, but not be too overwhelming. that style was very popular and finding a band to match shouldn't be to difficult. very lovely ring!

That is a lovely ring maybe a soft knife edge band may work.

try a pawn shop most of them have an estate/antique area where you may be able to find something special \:\)

I love the idea of knife edge. They are so comfortable and would work well with your stunning ring!

Your ring is beautiful! So soft and feminine, and I agree with the knife edge.
