Stone is BTD Asscher Cut Alexandrite - 7mm (1.87 carats) in 14k white gold setting with round moissanite stones (thanks again jewelcat!) For color changing properties...see Casey's pics above for the range of colors this stone is capable of! Amazing!

I just got this one. BTD 7.5mm kashmir sapphire solitaire in my .50 ctw diamond wrap.

Thanks, it's kinda sad that the only place I have to wear them right now is to the bank, grocery store, etc... but I still enjoy just looking at them!

I know, I am the same way. I never have anywhere to wear my pretty rings. Just to work, groceries, to and from school. I try not to switch out too many times at work, co-workers get too curious.....

But at least where you live, people dress up - I can go out in hiking boots, levis, a t-shirt or sweatshirt, sunglasses and a ball cap (standard dog walking fare) and no one even gives me a second glance - even in the bank! The only people here that I have ever seen dressed up are the real estate agents (and now I am afraid they must be wearing mourning dress!)
