I am officially in LOVE!!!!! I love diamonds and have seen the nicest Harry Winston and Cartier stones in person, but none have taken my breath away like this OEC. It is about 5.5mm in diameter and the color is whiter than my H colord RB, probably F or G. The stones belonged to my GREAT GRandma, who got the flawless stone because her son (my Grandma's brother) was a jeweler. When the stoens were passed down to my Grandma, she had them set into this platinum setting. All other stoens are RB's. Two jewelers have told my Grandma that the stone is practically flawless. I have never seen an OEC in real life and the glow is INSANE! It made me dislike my RB a little, even though compared to other RB's it's gorgeous...the OEC just GLOWS. Even my husband said "Why did they ever stop cutting diamonds like that? They are so much prettier!" Anwyay, my Grandma gave this ring to my sister and I'm trying to be REALLY happy for her.
I have to get an OEC!!!!!! I am totally in love!!!

That is a beautiful piece of jewelry, and that OEC is delicious. I hope you and your sister have a good relationship and you can borrow it sometime. Is she the oldest, or a old jewelry enthusiast that you gran would decide to give it to her?
