I'm with champell. Less still awaiting pictures of the new ring. You left us all hanging. You mentioned it was ready I'm really waiting to see.

Actually, if you check my earlier post, I posted that the *casting* was done, not that the ring was polished, set, and ready for photos


The model ring was done on Thursday (ready for photos) but we've had cloudy weather here along with hail....so as soon as we get some sunshine we'll get the photos and post accordingly!

But the ring is done, and we'll get photos for you as soon as weather permits!

Okay, I'm going to be the bad guy and ask...

Why is the 14k white gold cartier ring (which is 2.6 mm wide) $60 more expensive than the 3mm 14k white gold tiffany cathedral. The tiffany cathedral is wider and must therefore have more gold in it.

The cartier platinum ring is $167 less than the 3 mm platinum tiffany cathedral, which proves my point that there is less metal in this ring. So it would make sense to me that the gold should also be less.

I'm sure the reason for the price hike is that we've all been begging for this ring and you know you can charge more to get it. But I'm a little miffed by that tactic. Any comments?
