Similar but with asscher center (also a J). Ironically, I went to save this pic in my asscher inspiration folder and it was already in there, from about 2 years ago. LOL, guess I really like it \:\)

I'd go with the classic 1922 Cartier mounting for your Asscher cut diamond.

I've lost all my photos in a computer crash, however, I'm thinking of the integrated basket head/shank with 5 stones on each side of the shank and little 'v's engraved on each side of the end of the diamonds on the shank. Not like the BTD version with the prong head.

Keep it simple would be my motto for this center stone. It must 'shine'!

I can't wait to see what you do with this stone! Whatever you choose is going to be magnificent! You have amazing taste...

OH! I just found the perfect example for you of the 1922 Cartier Asscher ring I was thinking of: Cartier 1922

I have seen that ring pop up in all of my PS asscher searches! I love the simplicity of it, skinny shank so that the center stone pops, a little sparkle on the shank, vintage feel without being too ornate...

Thank you for replying to my post. I am sure that your ring will turn out great! You have amazing taste!

If you do a 1922 Cartier, or facsimile of, I think you will be delighted!

If not, I am sure whatever you decide on will be equally gorgeous!! Every ring I have seen you post has been delightful!

Love this one simple but smashing!!!!!!

Wow this thread is making my heart have palpitations...too many pictures of gorgeous rings. I LOVE Leon Mege's craftmanship. I really want to have my wedding set made by him in my future one-time upgrade...LOL at the term one-time, but I know with my honey it WILL be only a one-time thing at Leon's prices.
