Well, alcohol is all reduced to sugar in our system, so in that sense it doesn't fit in with the reduction. But if you have just one per evening and you wish to keep that as part of your lifestyle, then leave it in and make your reductions elsewhere. We all have lines that we draw as to what changed we will be willing to make long term.

All right ladies- I'm ready to do this!! I checked my weight this morning ;1 and did bust, waist and hip measurements.

I'm having my coffee with milk only, no sweetener (surprise- I still like it!) and I'm starting my day with some cottage cheese with fresh blueberries and raspberries- yum!

Another thing I'm going to try to do is drink plenty of water.

Cheers everyone!!

Good morning all!!!! Glad to see you. Hope you've checked your weight or measurements.

We've got another brave soul to have along on our journey. Diamonds247 pm'd me to volunteer.

I added some hints and tips last night. Don't be afraid to post questions as you have them.

And don't worry about what dressing you use. Don't skimp! Use what you like so you eat the whole thing!!

A lot of dressings have high fructose corn syrup in them, so I would read the label first. \:\)

Edit Reason: I hope it is ok I posted in this thread since I am not doing this diet, if not I am very sorry!

Yes!! Post away. And that was a very good tip about checking your dressings. I didn't think of that at all!! Now I have to go check my Hidden Valley.

Whew!! I can now officially say that Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing is okay.

Okay, so I have already been bad. I woke up with a queasy stomach this morning, so I drank a Coke. But I only drank half of a can instead of the usual full can I drink in these situations. I also ate a banana.

And I took my weight and measurements. I weigh 139 pounds. My measurements are too embarrassing to post -- haha! Suffice it to say, I look like a pear. WAHHH!!
