LOL, about 10 days after this pic was taken I suffered a heinous breakage of my index finger nail and had to cut them all off (I can't stand for them to be different lengths!) and they finally have grown enough that I will do french again tonight. I bought several packs of just the french tips and will try that with my own polish over the top...

Whee! I finally bought these, and I love them! I have never been able to do a French manicure at home, but it turned out fantastic. The white tips are a little wide, but I can change that next time. Now my short little nails won't look like crap. Yay!

Gorgeous nails Erica! It took me a while to read this whole thread. Very interesting!! I have acrylics so that works for me right now. I had no idea something like this existed!

Okay, so I'm embarassed that I just noticed this thread. I don't come into the Coffee Shop often. But I read the whole thing and went out and got some today. My skills are pretty pathetic, but I think I'll get better. They do look very nice! I gave up my gel nails two years ago to cut costs, but this is going to be a great alternative! Thanks ladies!!

Okay, so I love these!! I even posted about them at Pricescope to share the beauty.

I have a question for you guys. Which is the pinkest of the french kits? I like the pink nail beds. I tried putting on just the tip and then covering the whole nail with the Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps, but the tips ended up pink too. Yuck!! I'm now trying a basecoat of Sally Hansen with the tips over top, but I'm not sure how well it will work putting the Incoco on top of polished nails.

Upgradable let me know how the tips work over polish. I love a cotton candy pink with white tips, but it is so difficult to get right because I have to do so many coats of pink that the white gets gummy. I can't wait to try these!

My nails are weak and as soon as they start to grow out one breaks or tears. A friend told me to try Nailteque (probably spelled that wrong) and that stuff works! It looks like a clear basecoat. I've refinished furniture, planted a garden, and cleaned house without gloves and haven't broken a single nail since I started using it (early May). I bought it at Walgreens, and it is a bit pricey at $18 or so, but it works. I've tried every nail product available to strengthen and protect and nothing has ever worked like this (nope, they aren't paying me to advertise). I bought formula 2. I've actually filed my nails down a few times because they are too long!

Well, I just finished.... two coats of pinkish base, white Incoco tips on top of that, one clear top coat.

They look great! Now, I'll just have to see how they wear.
