I was wondering if I purchased a ring from say QVC and sent it to wink if he could replace the main stone with an interlap or asha?

I also found this band which i love, and think it would go great with my cathedral setting, but it is over a thousand dollars, and I cannot afford that. Wink, could you make a replica with czs?

Does it have any other cz's in the setting? If so, you'd run the risk of having the other stones scorched while having a new centerstone set...that's if the prongs don't snap to begin with. Its not something jewelers like to do, but its not impossible. More than likely Wink would have to see the ring to give you a better idea of whether or not he can do it.

Diamond, do you know any good websites to find settings then? I saw lots of really pretty rings on QVC, but I don't think their larger czs look very real.

Have fun! You can also go here to look at the Ingwer 2004 catalog, courtesy of Johnathan's site "Good Old Gold".

You're welcome, but the thanks really goes to Johnathan for putting such a detailed Ingwer section on his site.

I had Wink replace a Diamonique with a VanGraff once for me. He did a great job.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some of their mountings are well made, many are absolute junk with paper thin shanks and prongs. (It's all about delivering a nice look for no money, no matter if it wears out in six months you know...)
We will mount stones in the well made ones, but not in the junky ones.
Wink
