I didn't read any private posts other than this pg but I thought I would give my 2 cents; I've tried the sublingual hcg drops from diyhcg.com. They work really well with no side effects, but you have to drink like 80 ounces of water a day. I never did a full month run, I did it for 2 weeks at a time and cheated a lot so I'm not the best example of a person who can stick to a "diet". But it worked really well, good results.

So, this is my first round ever. On my load days I gained 1.6 pounds total, this is the morning of VLCD #2 for me; so I just woke up after my first VLCD day, and I had a loss of 2.6 pounds. So I'm below starting weight, yay! I really hope the losses do continue. My husband woke up with a 2.8 pound loss. We are both really glad to see the loading weight gone. \:\)

I thought the VLCD days would be easy for me, because I was anorexic for three whole years in high school. So I'm used to very low calorie days, lol (except way back then my diet consisted of beef jerky, chicken, salad, grapefruits, grapefruit juice, and water). VLCD days are not easy though, even with the past experience. I really do hope these days get easier as time goes on.

When I was anorexic in high school, I was 5'6" and 107 pounds. Through college, learning I actually do love food, gallbladder problems, and getting married, I skyrocketed to 215 at my highest; even though I gained all that weight, I am still happy I learned to enjoy food. XD I started the diet at 206.2.... I'm really hoping to get to 135, I'll be very happy there. I wonder how many rounds it will take.

I know part of loosing 2.6 pounds over night is because of coming off of the load days, so I'm not shocked, and I don't expect a loss that big every day, but it was encouraging.

Our favorite recipe so far has been sliced cold apples with a little cinnamon and stevia. Another one that was good was spinach, with chicken on top, and crumbled melba toast; it was almost passable as a salad. XD

What makes it really hard for us is that, we have to have non diet foods in our house, because we have several friends who come over, and we don't want to pay for them to eat out every time they are here. We are just after college age, and my husband honestly makes alot of money for our age range, so often for us to be able to do things with our friends in the same age group, we have to cover for them... otherwise we'd feel bad, because they wouldn't be able to afford to go do anything. and you'd be surprised how that adds up, lol. I just wish I didn't have a 100 count bag of pizza rolls in the fridge tempting me right now.... or that huge key lime pie... or the can of chili. They are calling to me, but I am trying to be strong o.O

We had a pretty hard time on our first VLCD day but, we made it. Luckily I love grapefruit, so I am really enjoying my breakfast right now. \:\)

Hope all is going well for you guys, good luck!

Can hardly wait for my miracle noodles to get here, it's kidn of agonizing waiting on shipping.

4oz of 1% - 4% cottage cheese (about 1/2cup)
1 cup of strawberries
1/2 cup water for blending ease
5 packets of Truvia (I like it so much more than Stevia)
3/4 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder

I put everything into my Magic Bullet, give it a whirl or two and then I'm in chocolate heaven! \:D **

Bling, thanks for this. I'm back on protocol today and feeling VERY sorry for myself as yesterday was an awful day. I needed a "treat" and knew I wasn't going to have one for several more weeks. Then I remembered this shake. I've never done cottage cheese on protocol before but figured with the day I was having why not? LOL! I got fat free cottage cheese and did it up. I'm sipping it right now and it's pretty tasty! I am usually a purist...but this got my head back in the game. Thank you!

I just started my round too! I'm on day 3 of vlcd and I think its getting easier. I'm finding that drinking enough really is the key!

Another good snack I've found is cottage cheese with cinnamon and truvia-creamy and helps with the sweet tooth cravings for me!

Has anyone tried the shirataki noodles on this yet? You can have the whole bag for 20 cals (although you have to kind of try to convince yourself its spagetti, lol). I just wondered if these made you stall?

I haven't tried them yet, but they are in the mail! \:\) I did alot of reading, and there are several hcg sites that recommend them. And a doctor in the St. Louis area who does the diet for patients, says they are hcg diet approved.
