You can steam it or blow it with a can of air too.
Those really take off the yuck!

3 days?! Wow...er my asha gets this milkyness every hour nearly! And I can see it irl too - wah!

.....perhaps it's a lack of 'depth' ? I might go off and read the cooking threads...

Thank you everyone for replying!

Also - if anyone is ever sitting on the fence about white gold vs platinum, I say plat! I'm so glad I went for the platinum option - it has a really satisfying heft to it. Even SO was surprised when I handed it to him, it's much heavier than it looks.

It's a Ritani, it is going to have an awesome weight to it. Such fantastic quality of ring settings, yummy!
Congrats on your beautiful ring, that is one of my all time favorites!

Gemcare works the best.

Hmmm I use windex sometimes and it makes it sparkle like crazy. I am going to get some canned air to see if it blast off gunk I can't reach. Wonder if the jeweler did something? I'd be so mad if I were you! I always check the table in the light!

I know what you mean! I'm trying not to focus on the scratches just because there's nothing I can do about it, it's not like a prong set stone where I could just change it out... bleh.

But I'm really peeved it wasn't mentioned to me - one of the very reasons so many buyers are leery of purchasing online...I did have an otherwise good experience with the jeweller and process though.

I'm off to try Windex. The gemcare didn't seem to do anything \:\( Wish me luck!!

The filled in section shouldn't have anything to do with making your stone look hazy... I am starting to think your jeweler did something to the stone while he set it, I hope I'm proven wrong.
