Hi everyone, I am excited about this so I wanted to post some photos: I brought my BF a 30th birthday present, I purchased it online and it was coming from the US so I have purchased it way ahead of time incase there were any problems - there weren't! So I still have 6 weeks till I can give it to him! I got it from WatchCo.com and saved about AUD$700 off the equivalent of similar specs Seiko watches would cost in Australia (this particular one is not sold in Oz).
It keeps the correct date for every month including leap years and it stores battery though the movement of your body - you never have to change the battery, if you put it down and walk away from it it will go into standby mode after a certain amount of time, then when you come back to it and pick it up and move it around a bit it moves the hands to the correct time and changes to the correct date (I pulled it out of its box this morning and the hands moved to the correct time and I was like "Oh!" and started giggling like a school girl lol)
So its hidden from him until June 14th! And I am giddy with excitement! I have hidden it very well, I don't think he could possibly stumble upon it
In the mean time, I am going to have it engraved on the back, I was thinking: "A Treasure for my Treasure" what do you think?!
