Hi all, So i'm here EVERYDAY, looking at pics and getting advice. I have finally decided to go with an Asha setting that I saw on http://www.Ashadiamonds.com, It's the marah setting. Now..... Has anyone ever heard of or purchased a stone from diamondcz.co.uk ? How is the quality, do you have pictures you can post? ALSO..what does cooking CZ's do and how can it been done?? I saw one post "cooking experiment" in the oven and when it didn't work a lighter was sent to it.

as far as that seller goes, check this thread out : http://betterthandiamond.com/discussion/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/522131#Post522131quite a few of us have purchased from him, and there are loads of pictures in the thread. cooking a CZ *can* enhance the appearance. can improve apparent depth, disguise some glassiness, and even add warmth. it can also cause scorching and breakage - so while i happily cook all sorts of czs, my general advice is never cook something you're not willing to risk destroying.

Yeah, what Dana said! If you do plan on trying to cook some stones, maybe try it out on some cheapo czs first. The one I did in the thread you were referring to wasn't exactly grade A work...or grade D, lol. I took it a bit too far and I think I burned the stone a little. NBD though, I was gonna toss the stone anyway. It was fun to try, but I would definitely practice a bit before doing it with anything you plan on wearing.

Thank you Dana for that link. WOW.... Poppyseed, BeMyValentine & GIABryan received such BEAUTIFUL stones from Chris. I'm soooo excited now about receiving my stones I can't want to start posting pics.

I just saw that big thread regarding people cooking Ashas. I thought an asha was suppose to be a realistic diamond substitute? I am hesitant in buying an asha because of that thread. Apparently asha isn't good enough as it is, that's the message I am getting from it. Im not trying to be rude or anything, believe me, I am glad I saw that thread. Saved me a lot of money. lol
