Well, I made it through the party, AND I even managed to lose!
I was busy all day preparing food and cleaning house, so that kept me distracted from eating. I didn't have my first meal until after 2pm. I ate a little piece of chicken breast and some cauliflower. I didn't have anything else until the party started. At the appetizer house, I ate 2 coctail shrimp, 2 small pieces of cheese and a very small piece of brie, plus about a half tablespoon of spinach dip. At the salad house, I ate one small salad cup- it had an edible cup made out of parmesan cheese with about 1/4 cup of shredded lettuce and a drizzle of ceasar dressing. I didn't eat the crouton
. My house was the main course and we ended up with 4 kinds of lasagna, plus two different kinds of bread and dipping oils. I ate a piece of my low carb lasagna- pretty small, about 2" X 2", and I sampled a little bit if the filling from my neighbor's veggie lasagna, but didn't eat the pasta. No bread of course! And finally, at the dessert house, I didn't eat anything
I did have a little bit of wine at each house
and my head is hurting this morning!! I was so proud of myself for eating well all evening that I made a microwaved cinnamon apple for myself when I got home. Yum!
