My dad passed away a couple weeks ago, and I have been considering it. He knew I loved jewelry, so I think he would get a kick out of being part of something I love so much that will last forever. That being said, it is SOOO expensive that I had to stop planning on it. I will probably keep some ashes in case I ever decide to, but I would have to research it a lot more.

So sorry craystalzi! From what I have read the whole process at present is a scam. I have a family member who wanted us to make a diamond of his ashes after he dies. I showed him the research I had gathered and he decided himself that it was a scam and not what he would want after his death. My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry your father has passed.

On the local news tonight, there was a story about a woman who got a blue diamond made from her late husband's hair. He was a local police officer who was killed in the line of duty, so that was the primary reason for it being a feature story here. But they did include a little mini-interview with the owner of Infinity Diamonds.

Oh that had me tearing up really bad. All three rings were gorgeous, and how special for them.

That is so sweet. I hope that those rings will bring them a little bit of comfort when they see them.
