while getting ready for work this morning i was buzzing about, and right before i was about to leave i see my watch in the middle of the living room (i keep my jewelry on my nightstand)... i knew something was wrong. i pick up the watch and run to my nightstand, and everything is there but my e-ring!!!

i'm freaking out. she COULD have hid it but i think she ate it.

has this ever happened to anyone?? what should i do?

i will move my jewlery from now on, this is the first time she's ever climbed up there or showed any interest in that area.

ugh i'm just sick over this. not puppies fault of course.

she is in her crate right now and i will be checking on her soon when i head out for lunch.

If she ate it...you're gonna have to monitor her poop...sorry but true lol.

Give her a little bread to make the passage smoother. This is what a Dr. said to us when my nephew swallowed something. The piece of bread kindof coats the pointed parts (like prongs and corners). Just one slice of bread should work. Good luck with the treasure hunt

ocMrsB, sorry to hear about the incident. Hopefully she really just hid it or it accidentally got pushed under the furniture or something. I rushed down to my bar as soon as I read your posting to move my rings. My 4 month old lab is 40 lbs and he's been intrigued with anything higher up than him. He is kept in his kennel unless someone is with him although my husband lets him wonder around the house downstairs by himself when he gets ready for work in the morning.

i gave her some corn bread, and we're hoping Puppy Watch (or Poo Watch, rather) Day 2 is more successful.

i'm going to feel really weird and kind of gross wearing it for a while... hopefully someday i'll forget lol.

Oh dear the things dogs do!

My dog swallowed a christmas decoration a few days ago and although I wasn't particularly looking for it (!) I did find it when I was poop scooping..yeuch

she is her normal happy self so vet said not to worry so long as she's having regular bm's and behaving normal; if it hasn't been retrieved in a couple days we're going to take her in for a checkup.

this is the weirdest jewelry situation i've ever had, that's for sure

yaaay, DH just found it- POO FREE!! puppy hid it behind the trashcan in the kitchen!! i have learned my lesson about where to keep jewelry and thank goodness little billie jean is healthy (and there's no poo on my ring!). YAAAAY!!!
