I think you will be happy with a round as the sparkle will make you smile no matter what.

I have a cushion - 7mm - but I'm not happy with it for 2 reasons - lack of fire and shrinkage has set in. I want to switch to a round, on the current ring. I'm currently scouting for an entirely dfferent ring. hahahaa. Hubby is getting annoyed, I think, lol.

I know I have issues...since I have joined the forum in Aug, I purchased the Empress from AD (PC), the Giovanna from Moiss Co (RB) and the heavy Tiffany from AD
Currently I have a ring under way w/Wink which will be lovely yellow/pink stones-cushions/radiants(thanks to MR and her inspiring Morning Blush!)
I think that leaves me w/ovals to go...

Would you mind posting a pic of your giovanna. Can you post what size stone and what size ring finger so I can get an idea.

So, I ordered my ring Friday. It's Tuesday. I am thinking my ring is in production right about now. I bet it ships by Friday.

Oh, ladies. Bobby and I are doing things a little backward. Long story. We been together for 2.5 years. Ever since the first week we know we wanted to marry each other. What prevented him was he couldn't afford a ring for me until I discovered these stones. Now the dream will come true. I sound like cindarella but far from it lol. We talked about it and he said lets buy it so we did. I picked it out. Now the surprise of the proposal is ruined because we both know we will get married and a ring is on the way. He still wants to propose. I'll be home when the ring comes to sign for it but I am not supposed to look at it. He wants to present it to me and officially propose. Can you imagine how hard it will be not to open it??? I'll have to ask you for support everytime I think about it. I am fine with the proposal and he wants to do it so I am just going with it.

all it matters is that you love each other. there's no right or wrong way of doing things. your Bobby sounds like a keeper. can't wait to see hand shots. congrats on your engagement!

No... you guys just sound like you were made for one another Crissy .... It will be hard not to rip the package open when the ring comes..... but when it arrives... just set it down and go straight to the computer and let us all know.... Let him open the package and see the ring first... who knows... he might drop to one knee right then and there.... I'm sure he wont let you go without for long... just think Val-Day is less then a month away.....

Well our wedding is on 2/11. So 13 days away. I think my ring will ship mon or tues so I should get it weds or thurs. You girls are gonna kill me. I need to ask again. Do you think that the 1.25 round will look significant on my 3.5 finger? I keep thinking I should have gone 1.5 carat. oh boy.
