Quick question; Is the enhancement a surface treatment or does it change the entire stone? I only ask because I'm curious about scratching. But seriously, if you make a scratch proof stone that looks like that, you will certainly convert a lot of people who thought diamonds were the only option...

Yes, definitely well below Takara Lab Diamond pricing and well below natural diamond, of course (90%+ lower).

Without being bound by this, a guesstimate is something like 2-3x the same size raw round Moissanite.

I was kind of hoping that somehow we could bring it in the realm of regular moissanite, but after seeing how much material is lost in cutting to achieve it, thats simply not going to happen...but that was why I said 'a lot'.

If we can find a way to lower pricing without sacrificing quality before we launch, we will but Mira will not be a cost-competitive stone compared to regular round Moissy.

But, it will be very cost-competitive against Takara lab diamonds (which are not available in white yet anyway) and of course even more so against natural diamonds.

I'd like to see comparison pictures on the same colored background...the 2nd one is prettier, of course, but I think a lot of it is because it's picking up the blue.

Would there be any chance that you would offer the Mira cut stone minus any enhancement treatments? Say, a Mira, and then a Mira plus whitening?

And I'm quite curious, does the Mira have the same fire as a regular moissanite stone, or does the cut reduce the disco ball effect?

I hope my boyfriend's bank account is ready when Mira comes out, because he may not have a choice about getting engaged due to the fact that I want that rock on my finger!
