Well, I would not agree with the "Stay Away" part. My friend (a reputable jeweller) and his client were quite happy. Its a hand-cut cz base coated with DLC and some sort of optical layer. Very Brilliant and color quite nice.
I would say they are comparable with Asha and MiaDonna. Same type of coating. Can't really say the same for others like DNL, Carat, Russian Brilliants, just to name a few. These are plain CZ and not worth the time or money. Carat in particular doesn't even have any part of the stone or jewelry process. They purchase ALL their items already prefabbed from a China based company! Ouch!!! Buyer Beware.

MiaDonna are Ashas.
I'd love to hear someone like Less weigh in. Personally, what I read on their science page doesn't sound like what Asha does, but I know there are those out there who can give much much better insight to it than I.

They are one in the same. MiaDonna is an Asha reseller but charges a heck lot more for their setting (maybe the Asha stone too).

We bought a Quorri DymondX while it was still going through rebranding last August. The stone shows signs of handcutting and it is extremely durable and never cloudy. Beautiful stone and band. I'm kind of dissapointed we didn't get to see all the new Quorri designs. I've had CZ rings before, and if that's all DNL is - then a Quorri ring is definitely nothing like DNL.

Want to come clean?!?!?

Done some more checking, and I would warn against buying from Quorri. First off, I can't see how they could be better than Asha, and secondly, their prices are outrageous compared to AD. Case in point: Giovanna by Asha Diamonds in a 1ct size comes in at $385. Virtually the same ring at Quorri (not as nice as AD's) in a 1ct comes in at $789.97. WAY overpriced in my opinion.......

I don't think anyone is insinuating they are "better" than anyone. But I do not think they are like DNL. I don't know a whole lot about Asha (I've not owned one), but I can tell you from personal experience that my wait time for an email from the Asha team was around 3 days for an inquiry and hours from the Quorri team. I had a lot of questions and I did not want to wait. Quorri's customer service was beyond anything Asha was giving me. And as a consumer making a purchase like this, it was important to me.
ETA: It was AshaDiamonds.com I inquired with (now that I understand you can buy Asha from wherever - this may be the price difference since Asha is mass distributed and Quorri is not). I would get my old emails with contact, but I did marry in December and have a new email.
