We are adopting 2 German Shepherd puppies from a local rescue and here are some photos of them. These are of the boy.

Awww how cute! My Uncle used to have a black one when I was growing up... they're such beautiful dogs.

Awe, gemcat, this brings tears to my eyes. How kind and generous to take the two darlin' pups. I always have a wee tear when a fur-baby finds its forever home, from trying circumstances. Congrats on your gorgeous pups. LOVE those big ears!

OMG---how cute is that? They are just growing into those ears--they are adorable and I just wanna hug em and pack with them. Thanks for posting the pics. Is that your husband in the pics; I have an idea that if he were to lay down on the floor, he would instantly be right in the middle of a big pile of puppy play frenzie and he looks like the kind of guy who would enjoy that just as much as I would.

Yes, indeed, that is my DH. He is just as excited as I am and in love with both these babies. We were just going to take the male when he was ready but we couldn't get that sweet girl out of our minds, so we decided to get both. They are siblings and have been together all along, so we both felt they would adjust to new surroundings better if they were together.
