If I were you I would definitely keep it! It is such a beautiful warm color! It is what I would consider to be a very very light champagne. If I were in your shoes I would do something that utilizes the color. I saw a post on pricescope where a woman had a ring custom created in rose gold with a yellow diamond in the donut to exaggerate the color of her M (I believe) OMC. It is, to this day, one of my favorite pieces! You're right it does look like a light champagne color! It's funny I've been saying for a while that I want a champagne colored diamond in some kind of an antique setting. Maybe this is my chance! (well, not diamond but you know what I mean)

Moissy is a moody stone. Yout pics have the stones at different angles for one, and set stones are always lighter for two. There is also some sort of blue cast in your pics. I think you need more pics, and many. many types of lighting, including outdoor. Just walk around with it on your hand, carefully of course, and if you can like your stone in the worst lighting conditions, then you will love it in the best. I guarantee that it does not look like that all of the time. That is just how moissy is. In best lighting my pink moissy is gorgeous, light and perfect. In worst it is much darker and salmony. The colour change of the stone is that drastic. I really hope you can love your stone! If not, just send it back. But I have never seen a moissy look that dark before, and I even had a large radiant, and those show body colour. Comparing to another moissy that was photograped somewhere else, in different lighting, by a different camara is futile. MrsMike also has a 10mm Mira and the whiteness is startling.

I agree with PP at the same time though.. I love champagne colored stones, and while I would not hesitate to buy one, if I am putting money down to get an incredibly white stone, it only seems fair that I get what I am paying for. If I were in your shoes I would walk with it, like mentioned, and see if it becomes more white. My stone is not very moody, but it doesn't differ in certain lights (for instance, if I had first seen my moissy in my yellow cast bathroom I would have been VERY disappointed with it). In your situation, you have to decide if you want what you thought what you were paying for (very white stone), or you are willing to keep the beautiful stone you now how, despite the fact that it does not deliver what you anticipated of your purchase.. It is a tough choice. I'd take the time to see it in every light & then make the decision.

Yeah the stones are at different angles, it's hard to get the set one to sit in the same direction as the non-set but that first pic definitely shows the color difference that i see in person. I still have yet to take the stone out but it's going for some road trips to see different lighting today!

MrsMike also has a 10mm Mira and the whiteness is startling. But, wasn't Mrs. Mike's the one and only H & A cut 10mm Mira? Maybe I am wrong?

Mrs. Mike's Mira is a regular moisy cut....
I am currently sitting at home waiting for my 8mm Mira ring and the suspense is killing me. I'll let you know what I think. The environment and lighting conditions can really change the way moisy looks. I have a 6mm moissy that is incredibly white and a 6.5mm that is very tinted...both regular moissy. maybe some are better than others.

I had an 8mm unenhanced round, and I now have a 7.5mm unenhanced cushion, neither show anywhere near the color of the Mira in your pics. While yours is very pretty, I don't see the point in paying so much extra for the enhancement, when it doesn't seem to make a huge difference.
I am not opposed to a little warmth, makes it look more like a diamond in my opinion (but not when I paid a premium for a white stone). +1 for sure...........
