This may sound like a ridiculous question, but is it possible you got a regular moissanite by mistake?

It's gorgeous but my 9mm reg RB moissanite shows less colour that yours... Mine faces up white 90% of the time. I agree with the other sparkle queens on here... Moissanite is a very moody stone...

I read on this forum that GIA and AGS ( i think wink might of said it with ref to a diamond) are the only accurate graders.

just watch Mira is not a money spinner for us addicts. Moissanite is a very funny stone and reacts in so many different ways, with different lighting. If i was to pay extra for Mira i would want something a bit whiter and worry about the lighting that is unflattering for moissanites....

As i said, my unenhanced is soooooo white most of the time. It never looks that colour in similar lighting. We all work hard for our money and you want to spend it well. Hope i don't get a pm off less again for just being honest...

Omg! UPS just dropped off the most beautiful ring. It looks nothing like your 10mm.
It is super duper white!!!!!!! It's way whiter then the 8mm enhanced stone I used to own. my ering is a gia E color and it looks great next to it. No one would ever guess it was not a diamond. Face up it looks like a G next to my diamond. The platinum setting looks superb. Thank you Less. I'll start a thread tomorrow with pics as I have to take the kids out now.

You know I wondered the same thing. The only other moissanite I've owned was an 8.5mm enhanced and I wish I still had it for comparison but in my memory it was whiter than this one in the same lighting (living room near my window). I'm still collecting pictures for you all and I'll post later on! So far I'm seeing the consistent light champagne color but I don't think I've hit all lighting situations yet, I've been mostly indoors.

One other note, when I use a flash I don't see champagne in the pictures, but do IRL. I wish I could walk around with a permanent camera flash shining on my hand LOL.

I honestly thought that Mira was a canary stone when I first opened this thread!

UPS tried to deliver my 6.5mm today and I wasn't home.
But I'll go pick it up myself tomorrow and post pictures ASAP.
I don't have any nice comparion stones to shoot it against, but I'll post pics anyway.
