I love your comment that the cats are "of course" disgusted... haha! Isn't that just the way cats are? These puppies though... dang they are adorable!!!!! I have always thought German Shepards were some of the nicest, most loyal dogs you can find :-) Congrats on the babies and YES please keep these super cute pictures coming!! :-)

How are they doing Gemcat? I think they're adorable and thank you for giving these beautiful animals a home. I know they will give you nothing but joy.

Looking forward to all the pics as they grow....... grin

The pups are doing just fine. They turned 3 months old on Friday (the 15th) and are growing like you wouldn't believe! The dainty lady Kyrie is 31 lbs. and her brother, Bay, is 33 lbs. When we got them a week and a half ago, they were 27 lbs and 27.6 lbs.
We took them to PetCo today for their first real outing with us and they behaved beautifully. They were interested, curious, and friendly to all who wanted to pet them. We had portrait photos done by the in-house photographer and they posed so well. I'll post those when we get them in a week or two.
In the meantime, here are a couple of photos I took at home.

They are just way too cute!!! They certainly settled in "home" just perfectly.

So beautiful! Thanks for the photos and update, gemcat. smile Our neighbour's GSD is almost two years old. She's a wonderful furbaby and also loves us. grin I love hand-feeding dogs, so I give her cookies (for a wee "sit" command, on occasion) and make a fuss over her. They're sooooo trainable---their compliance gene is definitely flicked "on" as compared to our stubborn little terriers... tongue

Different breeds, different traits. The northern breeds tend to be more laizze-faire about obedience work and Silver lives up to that. Tell him, "Let's go outside." and he is likely to lie down and roll over for a belly scratch. GSDs, on the other hand will beat you to the door, just because you said so. grin
