Hello, I contacted a rep from labdiamondsdirect.com, they said that a 1 carat blue diamond is 200$. Sounds too good to be true for a lab diamond, do you think it may be a cz or something else? Anyone else buy from them?

My guess is they are selling CZ while trying to make people believe they are buying "lab diamonds". On their website they say that a lab diamond is a diamond simulant...but it's not!

That is NOT a lab grown diamond. They are advertising something similar to ASHA as a diamond coated stone.

"A Diamond Simulant is one that is created in a laboratory, such as Lab Diamonds. Diamonds created in a laboratory will have perfect quality. They are colorless and flawless - the very properties that are desired in a perfect diamond."

Any time a company uses the word "simulant" you know its not a lab created diamond.

A true 1ct blue diamond lab grown will run about $7-10,000. And, getting them to 1ct is very uncommon and they *always* come with an independent grading report. And, true lab grown diamonds don't have 'perfect' quality as this site claims - they have similar flaws to natural grown diamonds...since they are both diamond.

Anyway, this site is selling a CZ based product and incorrectly claiming they are 'lab diamonds'.

Best regards

hmmmmmm, that's what I thought, this is their reply
"All of our lab-diamond are flawless in clarity and the white ones are D in color. The stones are 95-97% as hard as natural diamonds and the fire and visible reflected light are almost identical to ideal cut hearts and arrows natural diamonds as our stones are singly refractive."
the words 'almost' make me wonder
