No loss as far as I can see.... Absolutely agree!! Please let us know how you find that kit. I've never heard of the brand before, but I'm always looking to expand my collection!!!

I figure give it a try You get the kit for $45 and if the light doesn't work as well as it should then you can always buy a better one. You would have had to do that anyways if you bought everything individually. And, if it works then you only paid $45 for the whole kit which is pretty sweet No loss as far as I can see.... Totally agree! I'm with sparklee, I want to hear how it works! And post pics. We love pics of the colours. I wasn't trying to say it definitely wouldn't work... I'm hoping your light works great. I had a bad experience with mine, but it was a totally different brand. And so I'm sticking to UV for now. Sparklee - I'm still in awe of your 10, 20 and 30 second curing time. I cure Bella's Vampire in 3 minutes, because a NailHarmony booklet told me to do that for dark colours. I'm sure I could lessen the time though. One day I'll get an LED... one day! lol

When I decided to buy an LED lamp I decided to go with one of their lamps so that I would be sure to get their shorter cure times. Nowadays I'm also wearing OPI Gelcolors "Lincoln Park after Dark" and "Big Apple Red", and also OrlyGel "Haute Red", and they cure with the same shorter times as the Gelish.

Good to know! I wear the darker colours as well - love BV, was thinking of trying out "Black Cherry Berry" because other reds I've purchased were too bright for my liking. And, as for lights - I made a mistake. Turns out I had the Gelish "mini UV" light... not LED. But still, it didn't work. Anyone wanting to try out Gel polishes, avoid this light: Bad light that doesn't work

Sparklee, how are you liking the OPI? Are you using the gelish base/top coat?
I can't tell what the problem is that I've been having with the gelish but I'm not getting the full 2 weeks, usually some lifting at the tips (I glue it back down with nail glue if I can, lol). It's not all of the nails but a one or a few.
Before I started doing them at home I had OPI Axxium and Shellac and both held up 2 weeks or more. I'm wondering if it is the brand that makes a difference...??

I LOVE the OPI!! And yes, I am using the Gelish base and top coat, however I have more OPI colors on order, and I have their base and topcoat coming too. I have heard on other forums that there is less shrinkage with the OPI. I haven't really experienced that too much, but I guess if their Gels are great, I can only assume that with their base/topcoat it will be awesome. I'm always open to trying new ones 'cause you never know if they're going to work better!
Funnily enough, although I use Gelish base/topcoat, I get much longer wear out of the OPI colors, than I do with Gelish colors. Weird huh?!?! You wouldn't think the colors would make any difference.......

Trying out the SensatioNail kit today So far so good!! Quick review: Comes with a two-in-one base/top coat, one color, cleanser, file/buff, orange stick, LED light, lint free wipes, instructions. Very straightforward. I followed the instructions and my first home gel polish looks like it came from the salon I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap starter kit. I imagine I will probably be looking to get OPI stuff to use soon as I love OPI. Bottles are all on the small side so I'd say you might get maybe 4-6 applications out of it depending on how light or heavy handed you are with application. Overall a great buy for $44. One more polish and it will have paid for itself I'll post again with info on wear and tear. Last time I got one professionally done it was good for about 2 weeks (i'm super hard on my hands) so if this lasts as long I'll be happy. Cheers!
