So a few days ago I posted some pics of my new engagement ring. It is a .75 ct MIRA in a BTD Timeless Halo setting.

Anyway today I passed by a local jewelry store and I decided to pop in and look at their wedding bands. The owner was the one who was working. We got to talking and him and his wife have been designing and selling engagement rings for over thirty years!

I told him I was looking for a platinum band and he asked to see me ring. I took it off and he looked at it under the loop. He commented on how nice it was and then we continued discussing the type of band I wanted. Didn't miss a beat and he gave me a card to have a custom band made if I wanted. Now I won't mention the name of the store, but I know that they do not work with moissanite or sims, yet it didn't seem like he suspected a thing. Just thought I would share

Yea I know he could have noticed. And I'm not saying that he didn't notice, but it didn't "seem" like he noticed. Like others have said he probably did. However he did talk to me for quite sometime about cad renderings and what have you. He kept talking as I was trying to leave So maybe they changed the store policy and now work on sims and moissanite? He really wanted my business. Maybe because my setting is platinum? I don't know, but it was still a pleasant experience. I'm glad there are nice people in the world.
