I never set out to wear more than two rings, e-ring and wedding band. My stack evolved on its own as our marriage went through various phases and I wore different rings at different times.
Here is my "Unintended Stack" and the meaning behind each of them, starting from the bottom nearly two decades ago...
1) My original 11-stone wedding band.
2) What I wore with my wedding band instead of my original e-ring while we were separated. It signified "beat to hell but still made of gold." Purchased from AnatArt on Etsy.
3) My replacement e-ring when hubby came back home. This was a C&C moissanite and was just recently reset with a Mira.
4) My latest addition to celebrate the stability and simplicity of being off the roller coaster and intertwined.
To answer questions I see here frequently...
-- Widths in the same order are 2mm, 3.5mm, 3mm, 2mm. So a total of 10.5mm. The Mira stone is 7.5mm. My finger size is 6.5.
-- My "beat to hell" band is from AnatArt on Etsy. She now has a link to her personal web site for sales.
-- My solitaire setting is from Unique. The same one is at Moissanite Co as #SOL224. I love that it's 3mm high in profile and allows bands to sit flush.
-- My rope band is from KyleAnn Metals on Etsy.
-- Everything is 14K yellow gold.
-- Nail polish is OPI Hawaiian Orchid. Just opaque enough to cover staining from darker colors (I'm natural, not acrylic) without all the work of a base and top coat, and it can be ignored for two weeks without wearing and grow-out being noticeable.
