As someone who works in retail, I can tell you that there is nothing . . . no amount of exemplary service or good communication will keep people from complaining . . . some people will never be happy no matter how hard the vendor/seller tries.

ALL the vendors on this website are 100% genuine people who care about their business and care about their customers. MoissCo excells in so many areas (like price I might say) that I think the occasional problem usually can be handled without all the name calling by anyone.

BUT the truth of the matter is, you can't expect perfection at these prices. If you are paying Cartier prices, then I say you have a right to get really upset. But, with that said, the picture of the ring in question is beautiful. Exceptionally beautiful.

I am going to chime in here because I have recently had some issues with my ring from moissco. Some of you may remember my two threads about the issues with my ring.

Originally I was quite upset with the fact that I was expected to cover shipping costs after they sent me a ring that was not well crafted but I think they have made up for that in the service that followed. Due to an illness in my family, it has taken me well over a month to send in the ring. They now have it and are providing me with an entirely new setting. They also offered to send me photos when the ring is finished to ensure I am happy with it. You will never find a company that 100% perfection all the time. In my opinion it is how the mistakes are handled that proves a companies quality. So far, I am satisfied with the way they have handled my ring situation.

This is my third purchase from this company and I find the other two products to be very good quality. I also have to say that I have found their response time to my emails to be fantastic. I have never waited more than a few hours for a response. I also changed my mind about a million times before choosing my ring and every time they sent me a new quote/link to my purchase.

That being said I have to strongly disagree with the point that these are not cartier (or whatever example was used) prices so don't expect cartier quality. I have a blue diamond ring that cost me $900 and it is in perfect condition. These rings are inexpensive compared to the average diamond, but the settings are quite comparable in price. My FI paid almost $700 for the setting of my ring which is roughly around what a jeweler would charge. Lets not pretend that these rings are cheap costume jewelry.

I don't think she was implying that Moissco is cheap costume jewelry, rather they are not designer pieces that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I don't want to even think about the price difference between a moissco solitaire and Cartier setting... ouch my head.

I don't want to mention specific vendors on here, but honestly there is only ONE that has lower prices for their mountings than MoissCo does. Trust me, I know. I most often choose to work with MoissCo not only because I've only had good results, but because of the excellent pricing.

I do think that moissco has reasonable prices that is one of the reasons we went with them. What I am saying is that reasonable prices are not an excuse for mistakes as one person made it seem. If you went to a local jeweler and paid $500 for a gemstone ring you would expect it to not have flaws. My ring was over a thousand dollars and I don't think that I should accept flaws because it was not 10 thousand as a diamond would be. The one poster had said "you get what you pay for" but in this case I disagree. That is all I was trying to say.
