wow roo! Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor!! It's beautiful, and I love that you went with unplated white gold. I was trying to get an unplated setting too, but locally people thought I was nuts! I actually had one lady working at a jeweler say "why would you want dingy looking gold?" I told her that in my opinion it wasn't dingy and I didn't want to have to constantly replate! I think white gold in its unplated state is pretty. It has kind of a candle light glow to it, if that makes any sense lol! My grandmothers rings were unplated white gold and that's where my love with it started. Anyway sorry to hijack, and rant lol!! I dearly love your ring and I'm so happy for you!! I know you'll enjoy her to the max!!

MamaCass... unplated white gold is coming back in a big way ... if you look around at high end jewely sites and other jewelry forums it's really everywhere with not a lot of people I think knowing about it because of how stunning it looks ... it's not really what you would expect ... but yes I call it a warm white... romantic white... and I think jcent described it like you did with a candle light glow...

Well you need not to look any further cause the jewelers here will do unplated white gold pieces... so don't let uneducated local jewelers tell you it's dingy... they are just what I said... uneductated.. that's all...
