I've always loved that ring style. To me it looks great. I hope the original OP chimes in here to explain what it is that he doesn't like about it or post a picture of the problem. I can understand someone not wanting the world to see a picture of their ring but when its a style that a lot of people have and when you post it anonymously I don't see why there is a problem. Maybe thats just me though.

I don't have a dog in this fight, at all, and by no means am I trying to bash anyone but I think its a little disrespectful for a vendor to post a picture of the engagement ring (common style or not) when the OP clearly stated his FI didn't want it posted on the internet. IDK, that just sort of rubs me the wrong way. i would agree with you on that, if this ring was custom or otherwise one of a kind. BUT that's a very popular style of ring. there are countless numbers of women who have that exact same ring, or one near enough to be identical. and there are no distinguishing features of that ring to make anyone be able to pick it out of a crowd, nor is there anything distinguishing about the OP's name that could lead anyone to put two and two together to find out that the OP's FI's ring is a sim.

IDK, that just sort of rubs me the wrong way. It is tricky because we are damned if we do, damned if we don't. Just something to think about, as a potential customer, would it make you feel better about a potential future purchase if 1) we made no response and left it lingering out there that we sent a customer what is described an item with poor craftsmanship that we refused or couldn't fix to the customer's satisfaction, or 2) pictures of the actual ring in question that is being reviewed? You see, its a difficult position to be put in, and I knew that when I posted the pics that we would be criticized for doing so. But in the end, as a vendor, I would feel it unfair for a negative review to be posted, and not be able to respond with facts and pictures. A customer can request that no pics be posted, but we are not bound by the request. Just as forum members have the right to post negative reviews, we have the right to respond. I am sorry the OP wasn't happy with the ring. The original ring did have a few flaws in the details, but I believe it was still beautiful. I also believe the majority of our customers would have been happy with it. That being said some of our customers demand a higher level of perfection, and we are happy to do our best. The final ring did turn out beautifully. However the OP doesn't agree and says its the result of poor craftsmanship. Therefore I believe the best way is to let the pictures speak for the themselves. This is not a custom design and is one of our more popular styles.

I have noticed that my ring catches a bit sometimes but isn't that somewhat normal? The prongs seem smooth and tight around my center stone. I've not worn a ring like this before but I imagine that any ring might catch from time to time. I'm new to this so just curious. Yes, catching on something from time to time is normal and unavoidable. But when you pull 2-inch long loops out of towels and upholstery regularly, there's a problem. If this excessive stuff isn't happening for you, don't worry, you're "normal."

Mike_C, I knew you'd chime in when you saw this thread. Thanks for posting your pictures. I know the OP didn't want to. He gave his review and opinion, and declined to add any photos. That's his choice. BUT, the photos you took ARE legally your intellectual property, to do with as you wish. This is the only way you can defend your business, and I think you're entitled to do so. Just because you're a vendor doesn't mean you shouldn't have a voice here. You're a forum member AND a vendor, all wrapped into one. A vendor's 2 cents is just as important as everyone else's here. Nothing would prove your point that the ring is in good condition like those photos do. To the OP - I think your ring looks STUNNING. And it doesn't look flat on the bottom (anymore, perhaps it was at first). I hope your fiancee wears it in good health, and that you have a very happy future together!

Hadley, perhaps your prongs are defective, if not wanting moissco to check them out, have you tried a local jeweler? Mine does not charge for checking the prongs.
I do have to say though that my diamond ring that gets checked regularly DOES pull loops out of cheap towels and just yesterday it was really pulling my DD's bedspread. Other than that though, not really a problem.
As to the height measurement, so very sorry about that. I know that buying on the internet is a lot different than trying on in person.
Also, I might add, I have not bought a ring from them yet, although I currently do have one in layaway.

I think part of it is the ring design. The side stones come down so far that there isn't much plain shank between them.
Also, I am so jealous of you teeny sized fingered ladies out there!!!! *sob* I never thought that my size 6 was large until I came to this board.

Well, by posting those pics, you bet he wont be a repeat customer.
No one has addressed (unless I missed it) the fact that emails aren't answered well. Maybe they are answered within 24 hours but ppl are clearly not satisfied with the quality of this service.
