i]BUT that's a very popular style of ring. there are countless numbers of women who have that exact same ring, or one near enough to be identical. and there are no distinguishing features of that ring to make anyone be able to pick it out of a crowd, nor is there anything distinguishing about the OP's name that could lead anyone to put two and two together to find out that the OP's FI's ring is a sim.
i'm not sure about that. If I had found a great resource of opinion, reviews, vendors and beauty (aka BTD) and was talking with friends, I would likely turn them on to this site. Add to that an unhappy experience with a purchase, also discused with friends or family, then it is quite likely someone that I know could very easilly ID this thread/ring/experience with me. (correctly or incorrectly) but it is easy for me to see it happening.

That ring looks beautiful to me. I don't see where it is uneven, flat or asymmetrical at all.

As for posting the pics on the internet, how is MoissaniteCo supposed to defend themselves against public accusations of poor quality workmanship without showing the ring in question? I appreciate that the pictures were posted here. Although I purchased my ring elsewhere I would not hesitate to order from MoissaniteCo. I have recommended MoissaniteCo to others and I remain confident in doing so.
I don't have a dog in this fight, at all, and by no means am I trying to bash anyone but I think its a little disrespectful for a vendor to post a picture of the engagement ring (common style or not) when the OP clearly stated his FI didn't want it posted on the internet. IDK, that just sort of rubs me the wrong way.

I've never ordered from this company before, but I have strongly considered it but posts like these, like others have stated turns me away. When my FH and I were considering going with this company the half answered emails from the company made us turn elsewhere. And it does appear that there are "favorites" with this company, but it is their company and so they can run it how they want.quote]

+1 I think it was rude, but thats just my 2 cents.

Rings like that aren't a common staple in the UK (OP seems to be in London). You don't see them around much. I understand why the OP did not want to post them and I found it truly wrong that Mike did.

The OP was not happy with their ring and sent it back twice. That is enough wrong doing IMO. The ring looks ok in the pictures but I can also see things wrong with it.

Anyway, I have always found it in bad taste when MoissCo post pictures to "defend" themselves agaisnt a consumer and this one tops the cake for me.

I order 99% of my clothing online. My sister gets 99% of her clothing in the store. She likes to try things on and she goes to multiple stores before deciding what purchases to make. I can't be bothered with any of that. I see something, I am secure in my sizing and I hit the button and make the purchase. I rarely send anything back.

That said, purchasing jewelry online is not for everybody. An engagement ring is a big purchase and it can be difficult, particularly for those with an eye for minute details. I have been pleased with my jewelry from moissaniteco and ashadiamonds and with the level of service I received. Yes, it may have taken a day or so to get a reply but I have no idea how large the business is. Waiting a week or two for an adjustment is not unusual. I receive this level of service from my local jeweler. I've also had to send things back when they came in not quite right. Sure, they can hire someone to answer our endless questions right away but imagine what that will do for pricing.

The pics are AFTER the repair so we did not see it when it was "square". It may well have been square but it doesn't look like they had any trouble taking care of whatever problems there were with the original delivery. I've often seen that response from them and it makes me more comfortable placing an order with them.

Normally, I would disagree about posting the pic but in this case, I'd have seriously considered it also. It's a lovely, well-made ring and I'd be pressed to defend my case as well.

What bugs me about moissco are the B&W sketches. The pics make the halos, pave, etc look "bigger" and more substantial. I cannot think of too many places selling jewelry that do not provide actual photos of the product - particularly for purchases that can run in the thousands. I hope that is something they are moving toward providing in the future.

Past all that, I hope the OP ultimately achieves satisfaction with his purchase. The ring in the photo is nothing to be salty about. Congrats on your engagement, don't let this little bump in the road spoil what should be one of the happiest times in your lives. Best wishes for the future!

Hmmm, I can see some uneven stones, and some look smaller than others, and some with more metal than others. I realize this is a stock item and not a Leon Mege; in jewelry, usually you get what you pay for.

This forum opens MoissaniteCo open to both positive and negative reviews. It also makes it possible for everyone to analyze their business practices. I am surprised they are handling this situation like this, when they just gave a refund to someone who damaged a colored moissy. However, it would be a poor business model to always give a discount, when ever someone complains.

So, all and all, I hope that this can be resolved with everyone being happy. smile

Those are actual pictures of the products. I remember them addressing this before, and they told us they send items to some fancy photographer for the images that they have on the website. I am so happy they are starting to add videos, as I think those are much more accurate. smile

Bottom line, OP posted a review and stated they were hopeful MoissCo would respond. In all fairness, how can any of us know what the OP was talking about without pics? If OP just wanted to complain about customer service, fine, but he brought workmanship into it. Its no secret that Mike posts here, it's unrealistic to expect him not to post pictures to defend his workmanship.
