So, I tried Wen, well the Sallys version, and OMG Im in love!!

My hair just drank it up! I used twice what was recommended and could have probably done another couple of rounds with it. I guess my hair is extremely dry which is what I have been suspecting was what was "wrong" with my hair for awhile now. I just cut my hair and usually at the length it is now, it poofs unless I blow it out with a round brush and a ton of frizz ease BUT I blow dried it with no styling aids and just free hand as I just didnt want to go to bed with wet hair and my hair is stunning! It looks like I had a professional blow out! I have no weigh down, just clean soft healthy looking no flyaways hair!!

All I bought was the sample packs to try it, I will be there bright and early for my full size bottle tomorrow!

Sorry to be dumb but what is this?

It sounds amazing! I just did a google search and came up with some products from Wen by Chaz Dean, is this the same?

I'm glad you like it! I love it and haven't used regular shampoo in months since I've tried the Sally stuff. The bottles don't last very long, so I suggest buying two at a time.

The Sally version of Wen is called "Hair One". It's a cleansing conditioner that is supposed to clean and condition your hair in one step without stripping your hair. Supposedly most, if not all, shampoos strip your hair so then you have to follow up with a conditioner to replace the moisture lost and style with oils and serums to reduce frizz. When you use these cleansing conditioners correctly you don't have to use all of the other products. I do use a little Argan Oil because my hair is curly, but it really is not necessary.

It's really important to follow the directions on the bottle. Using more of the product is better, so the "less is more" concept does not apply. Also, the longer you leave it on the better too. The downside is that it takes longer to wash your hair than it does with regular shampoo and conditioner; however, the results for me is so worth it.

In the beginning, I found that my hair got oily faster so I had to cleanse daily, but once my scalp/hair got used to the product (about 3 weeks), I was able to cleanse every other day. I have fine oily hair, so those who have thicker/dryer hair may be able to go even longer than that.

Hope that helps clarify things a bit. smile
