Funny thing, I was just going to comment on this hehe.
I had also purchased a 30X loupe a couple weeks ago (I think) and my bf had let me take a look at the ring with the loupe, because he loves me and I may have bit him if he didn’t
At first I couldn’t see it. I got a little frantic and started getting a little high pitched that I couldn’t see it. He calmed me down and told me to give it another look in a bit. Hell to that! I went to another the living room with window lighting and I slowly turned the ring so I could see the girdle through the loupe… was that a scratch? No wait..it turned it back a little bit and moved it a little further away from the loupe and EUREKA! There is was! You can just make out “Mira Moissanite”. It almost looks like its “MIRA Moissanite”. It’ll look about as thick as the edge of a business card.
I’m going to be at his house again tomorrow evening, I’ll try to see if I can get it in view and take a picture of it.

CanadianMermaid - I thought it would be fun to buy a loupe so when I was looking at some online, in the reviews for a lot of the 30x ones, people said that it wasn't actually 30x and was more like a 10x. So maybe the one you got is actually not 30x and that's why you're having trouble seeing the inscription? Idk, just troubleshooting!

I was thinking of this too.. because it looks about the same from when I looked at it with the jewellers 10X loupe... and it did only cost a few bucks on ebay from china :S

I am going to buy a stronger one - or go to a jeweller and check it out.

Call around and find someone with a strong/good one

When you are looking for it, tilt the stone so the light is reflecting off the girdle, and then turn it very slowly. This is the only way I am able to find it with our gemscope. It is small enough that I can't see it with a loupe, but I believe it is only 10x.
