I've always wanted to try the fast myself... I would love to read your journey while doing this.... I have no clue how to even really start since no one I know has ever done this... but I all the time feel like my body needs cleaned out and rebooted... I've been talking to James as well about starting to do more of a vegan style diet ... I don't know if he could pull through and do it... but I truly think I could... So I would be more then interested in reading along and doing some research and jumping on board to try this.... just the thought of my body feeling better makes me happy....

I know Amethyste did a juice fast and was very positive about it a few years back. I've been wondering about it since then.

A good first step would be to watch the two films I mentioned above. They are so inspirational!

Very interesting! I'm going to rent those documentaries. I've never tried juicing or detoxing. Is their a particular juicer any of you recommend? I would also love for you to share your fav juice recipes!

In the film about the juice fast, he uses a Breville and it has great reviews and comes in a variety of models to suit every budget. I ordered the Breville Die-Cast Juice Fountain as an early Xmas gift for our family from my parents, and we found it for $269 online, no tax and free shipping. It's usually $299+ elsewhere. There's another model that runs under $200 which is also very good. These two are the cheaper ones that juice only, with the pulp extracted. Then there are models that can either juice or make smoothies using the whole fruit, but I already have a Vita Mix blender for that, so I went for just juice.

My brother made me a delicious juice the other day. It was kale, apple, carrot, lemon, ginger. Delish! I have no idea what proportions he used, but once I start playing around with it, I'll post my favorite combos with quantities!

D'Adamo did come forward and as much as his ego would let him say that the blood type thing wasn't really all that accurate. He revamped his blood type diet into the genotype diet which should be helpful to many more people. If you're interested I'd look at what his later research showed. I can't speak on it since I haven't read it.

I would be interested in your recipes too (juice and veg or vegan), I also have a vitamix and love making green smoothies in it!
